Photographic Collections of London

From the collections at the Victoria and Albert and Imperial War Museums to those at local libraries and in professional archives such as those of the London Fire Brigade, London plays host to a surprising variety of often unknown photographic collections, all of which are kept for different purposes.

Clare Grafik, Curator at The Photographers' Gallery, leads the course using practical explorations and thematic discussions. This course considers the histories, preservation, use and related issues involved in these fascinating archives.
