The collective can work not only as a dynamic platform for photographers to guarantee their independence and identity, but also a creative hub to produce collective artwork.

This Panel Discussion will discuss the extent to which a culture of photography collectives exists in the UK and further a field and what kind of artistic and professional perspectives does this formation offer to photographers? As well as covering different methods of organisation, individual visibility, collaborative and collective artwork and the professional repercussions of collectivity, through professional, artistic exchange and discussion.

Collectives participating: ANRA (London), Cia de Foto (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Documentography (London), Latitude Photographers (London) and Unseen (Nottingham).
