A New Home in 2011

In 2011, The Photographers’ Gallery will move to a new building at Ramillies Street, the opposite side of Soho from our current location. This new Gallery will allow us to expand our pioneering role of exhibiting, educating, and engaging people with photography.

Spread over six floors, our new Gallery will have double the current exhibition space, provide state of the art technology for education, have a new on-line resource centre and a street level café and bar.

It has been designed by internationally acclaimed architects, O’Donnell + Tuomey, as their first major UK commission.

Over £7 million of this £15.5 million project has already been secured, including a generous contribution from Arts Council England.
